This is the best i have ever heard from Underworld. This definitely kicks the arse off their live album, though it's only 25 minutes or so. I think it was well worth the money, and you should think so too, in my opinion. Having said that, i am posting it here for the reason that i couldn't download it, so here's your chance if you want to download this album.

I guess this is under the proviso that if you do and you like it, you should buy it. Also, anybody who tells me to remove this download will find that i *will* do so as soon as i can, because this really is a breach of copyright, that's if someone were to download this and not buy the album. You get the idea. Enjoy it anyway!

It's very listenable fingerstyle british folk guitar with some guest singing and oboe et cetera, quite innovative at the time, this style is now considered to be a mainstay of the folk genre.

1. It was taped off the radio in 1997, a live set by DJ Shadow. Very good. it has a lot of stuff off of Endtroducing i think, including Midnight in a Perfect World and the one about the Organ.

Probably available everywhere, but anyway, taped off the radio and tracks are as follows:

0:00 - Fixed Income
5:30 - Lost And Found
16:52 - High Noon
20:55 - Organ Donor
24:18 - Midnight In A Perfect World

Supposedly, this is the Sound City 30 Nov 1997 set. The original tape is okay, but by modern standards it's still unlistenable. All i've done here is splice in the the records that were on the tape along with all the links by John Peel. I've attempted to normalise the loudness too. It's split into two halves and is a few minutes longer than the original tape because i've included the full songs in places where the original tape is truncated. I haven't done anything fancy, just good old fashioned splicing. I tried my best to normalise loudness too. Hope you enjoy.

There are a couple of songs i couldn't source, and one or two that i could only find in mono but by and large i think the end result is more enjoyable to listen to than the version in John Peel torrent 8 (or 7 is it?). Thanks to the original uploader though! I am very grateful.

This is slightly longer than the original recording, mainly because you get all of the Eddie Floyd song and most of the Truly Smith song, rather than just the snippets that were left on the original tape.

0:00 - Weather
1:05 - The Monkees - Pleasant Valley Sunday
4:30 - Billy Forrest (of the Dream Merchants) - Hello Lover
8:38 - Techniques - You Don't Care
11:32 - Radio London Big L film advertisement
12:50 - The Beatles - Day Tripper
16:14 - Advertisement
17:05 - Dave Davies - Death of a Clown
20:08 - Advertisement
20:41 - Eddie Floyd - Things Get Better
24.14 - Moby Grape - Omaha
27:05 - The Who - My Generation
30:59 - Arthur Conley - Shake, Rattle and Roll
33:40 - Strawberry Children - Love Years Coming
36:48 - Advertisement
37:30 - Truly Smith - I Wanna Go Back There Again

click on the link in the title to go to the download page.
